Something new at the zoo

We are learning about kangaroos at school. Last Tuesday, we ………watched……… a great video about them. After the lesson, I went to the library because I wanted to read more about kangaroos. I found three good there. I put them in my bag and rode home with them on my bike. At home, my mother gave me a drink and I sat outside on our to drink it because it was a very day. I told Mum about my lessons at school and about the library. She and said, ‘They have some new animals at the zoo. Do you want to go and see them?’ ‘What animals are they?’ I asked. ‘Well,’ she said, ‘They eat from trees, they are brown and they up and down a lot!’

‘Kangaroos!’ I laughed.
